Job - Scientist I (Mondelez International)

Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

Project Planning 
· Obtains understanding of project objectives
· Prepares detailed project plans and experimental design for assigned projects
· Is able to identify risks and contingencies
Program/Project Leadership & Execution
· Execute according to agreed project plan (The role will require reasonable travel to various sites for plant trials and other factory based activities)
· Gather and analyze data in a logical fashion
· Record and document technical data
· Manage identifies risks to deliver project including stakeholder management and alignment
Product Specification & Regulatory
· Prepares all necessary technical documents & specifications
· Participate in product assessment against regulations, intellectual property, and corporate standards 

Organisation Excellence & Development
· Acquires good understanding of the development process
· Acquires advanced knowledge of basic technologies · Independently act as a member in a cross functional project team
· Participate in other RD&Q activities as may be required (e.g. initiatives to improve executional excellence, continuous improvement of RD&Q processes etc.)

Qualifications

Technical / Functional skills:
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Food science/Technology and/or engineering
· Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Food industry preferably in Chocolate but not essential
· Competent computer skills and systems knowledge
· Sound knowledge of HACCP and GMP
· Sound technical knowledge and depth
· Able to plan project activities and execute in timely manner within allocated/aligned resources
· Sound written and verbal communication skills
· Learning agility
