Job Summary

Position Title : Dietitian

Location : New Delhi

Educational qualification : Bachelors /Masters in Food Technology, Home science or equivalent qualification

Exp : minimum 2 years, preferably from Medical/Healthcare/Hospital/NGO sector

Salary (CTC): Salary offered will depend on the competence/ experience and could range from Rs. 20,000 to 25,000 per month.

About the organiztaion: CanKids…KidsCan is a not for profit dedicated to Change for Childhood Cancer in India. It is the only organization in India that works on all aspects that will drive this change – from support services for families of children with cancer (age 0-21), to awareness, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, quality care, research and impact. CanKids’ vision is to enable global standards of survival, between 70-95%, for childhood cancer in India and to ensure that no child should suffer for want of cancer treatment due to lack of finance.

Role description:

• Responsible for baseline Nutrition assessment of children admitted under pediatric oncology department
• Ensure appropriate medical nutrition therapy
• See outpatients for their nutrition assessment status
• Modify recipes according to nutritional needs of patients & seasonal availability
• Responsible for Mid Day Meal to all pediatric patients
• Responsible for Nutritional group education with patients & families
• Plan/participate in relevant nutritional intervention studies

Skills Required:

• Effective Communication Skills and interpersonal skills
• Computer savvy
• Preferably a candidate who can join immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹20,000.00 to ₹25,000.00 /month
