KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS / DEVELOPMENTAL EXPERIENCES
1. Develop new beverage formulations & platforms for global markets.
2. Conceptualize, develop, analyse and ensure the successful launch of the product.
3. Working with CRO, universities and vendors for conducting clinical trials and consumer studies.
4. Drive New Product Development Innovations Program.
5. Liaison with vendors for new technologies and claim substantiation.
6. Identify global vendors for raw materials and evaluate specs sent by vendors.
7. Set quality standards and production parameters.
8. Provide expert and timely knowledge on regulatory compliance, risks and opportunities in new product development.
9. Interpret and communicate food standards and regulations to internal functions (like marketing, purchase, manufacturing etc.), including opportunities and risks.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
1. Proven track record of successful product development.
2. Well versed with product development process in beverages industry with strong understanding of translation of marketing brief to product development that is market-oriented.
3. He/she should have hands-on experience in scale-up of processes, conducting commercial trials and optimizing processes.
4. Experience in any 2 categories preferred – beverages /confectionary / snacks.
5. High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, figuring it out on your own and adapting as you perform and execute.
6. Leverages analytical rigor to prioritize and allocate resources effectively
7. A willingness to roll-up sleeves to get stuff done
8. Sound knowledge of MS Office Applications
9. Communication Skills - should be able to articulate ideas, strategies in a compelling manner across written/spoken/presentation formats
Salary: ₹500,000.00 to ₹700,000.00 /year
